Don't Be a StrangerDon't Be a Stranger
Sitting in the front row of a funeral service in a church that you've never been too can be a very difficult and traumatic couple of hours. Especially when the person is extremely important to the one you love the most, but they are a stranger to you.
Less than two years ago my girlfriend's father died; I didn't know him. Even though I didn't know him, he knew me, as any father would with the boy who dates his baby girl for the last seven years. In the seven years leading up to his death I had never spoke to him, I was afraid of him. In seven years I never shook his hand, never shared a conversation, I never even stayed in the same room as him for more than a brief moment. Like I said before I didn't know him, but he knew me.
While sitting just a few feet from his lifeless body I couldn't let myself become emotional, for his daughter, for his wife, for everyone. I was being strong and I didn't want to be. Never before had something been so messed up as a seven year
Descension Chapter 7Genesis
Half way back to the castle the teen wakes up but instead of struggling he just stays quiet. Seth looks back at the boy and is surprised he has woken up so soon after being hit by one of Tayo's lightning bolts. William sitts on the cot-like bed facing towards the two men, "Well I'm sure you have more questions. You should hurry."
Airo looks at Seth who

Henrietta walks down from her throne and walks over to Seth, "Because I don't believe that this would really suit them. She gives him a rolled up paper with a red ribbon holding it closed. "Seth before you open this, I'd like to say I'm sorry. My mother had taught me that sometimes the best way to heal is by yourself. I thought I'd be intruding if I'd have come to visit you. I loved Rain like a sister."
Seth opens the paper, "Henrietta that is very kind of you to-" The paper falls to the floor and Seth closes his eyes tight, "Is this a joke, my Queen?"
"Seth I had Zion, Tabitha, and the best mages in all of Tristain handle these calculations."
Airo walks over to Seth and picks up the paper and reads it out loud, "The portal that had been opened left a traceable magic. Using magical theory
