Don't Be a StrangerDon't Be a Stranger
Sitting in the front row of a funeral service in a church that you've never been too can be a very difficult and traumatic couple of hours. Especially when the person is extremely important to the one you love the most, but they are a stranger to you.
Less than two years ago my girlfriend's father died; I didn't know him. Even though I didn't know him, he knew me, as any father would with the boy who dates his baby girl for the last seven years. In the seven years leading up to his death I had never spoke to him, I was afraid of him. In seven years I never shook his hand, never shared a conversation, I never even stayed in the same room as him for more than a brief moment. Like I said before I didn't know him, but he knew me.

Seth puts the bucket down on the floor, "Morning Master Gen."
Gen wipes a few long white strands of hair form his face, "You'll pay for that later Seth?"
Seth smiles and helps his Master to his feet, "I kinda figured that but it was worth it." Gen grabs a towel and wipes off his face. "So Master what are we doing today?"
Gen re-ties his long hair back and changes his shirt, "Today is a very special day Seth, today is Strongest Day."
